Life ke FUNDEs…

Filed under: Cool — Aditya Joshi @ 8:03 pm

Here’s some advises for living a happier life , I got from a friend, it’s really worth reading..

1. Throw out non-essential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctor worry about them. That is why you pay him/her.

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. If you really need a grouch, there are probably a few dozen of your relatives to do the job.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Just never let the brain idle.

4. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.Laugh so much that you can be tracked in the store by your distinctive laughter.

5. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves.

6. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it is family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

7. Cherish your health. If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

8. Don’t take guilt trips. Go to the mall, the next county, and a foreign country, but not guilt.

9. Tell the people you love, that you love them, at every opportunity. Remember, Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

10. Just be yourself and enjoy it….!!!

Zindagi Hai To Khwaab Hai
Khwaab Hai To Manzilein Hai
Manzilein Hai To Fasaley Hai
Fasaley Hai To Rastey Hai
Rastay Hai To Mushkilein Hai
Mushkilein Hai To Hausla Hai
Hausla Hai To Vishawas Hai
Vishvas hai to Paisa hai
Paisa hai to Shohrat hai
Shohrat hai to Izzat
Izzat hai to Ladki hai
Ladki hai to Tension hai
Tension hai to Concern hai
Concern hai to a Khayaal hai
Khayaal hai to Khwaab hai
Khawab hai to Growth hai
Growth hai to Zindagi hai
Zindagi hai to khwaab hai
Matlab duniya Gol Gol hai
Bas ghumnewala chahiye….

Google Again…..some interesting facts..!!!

Filed under: Tech — Aditya Joshi @ 7:42 pm

| View Show | Create Your Own

Google sorts billions of bits of information for its users. Here are some little-known bits of information about Google:

  • Google’s name is a play on the word googol, which refers to the number 1 followed by one hundred zeroes. The term was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner, and was popularized in the book, “Mathematics and the Imagination” by Kasner and James Newman. Google’s play on the term reflects the company’s mission to organize the immense amount of information available on the web.
  • Google started as a research project at Stanford University, created by Ph.D. candidates Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were 24 years old and 23 years old respectively (a combined 47 years old).
  • Google’s index of web pages is the largest in the world, comprising of billions of web pages. Google searches this immense collection of web pages often in less than half a second.
  • Google receives daily search requests from all over the world, including Antarctica.
  • Users can restrict their searches for content in 35 non-English languages, including Chinese, Greek, Icelandic, Hebrew, Hungarian and Estonian. To date, no requests have been received from beyond the earth’s orbit, but Google has a Klingon interface just in case.
  • Google has a world-class staff of more than 2,668 employees known as Googlers. The company headquarters is called the Googleplex.
  • Google translates billions of HTML web pages into a display format for WAP and i-mode phones and wireless handheld devices, and has made it possible to enter a search using only one phone pad keystroke per letter, instead of multiple keystrokes.
  • Google Groups comprises more than 845 million Usenet messages, which is the world’s largest collection of messages or the equivalent of more than a terabyte of human conversation.
  • The basis of Google’s search technology is called PageRankā„¢, and assigns an “importance” value to each page on the web and gives it a rank to determine how useful it is. However, that’s not why it’s called PageRank. It’s actually named after Google co-founder Larry Page.
  • Googlers are multifaceted. One operations manager, who keeps the Google network in good health is a former neurosurgeon. One software engineer is a former rocket scientist. And the company’s chef formerly prepared meals for members of The Grateful Dead and funkmeister George Clinton.

The World of Goooooogle

Filed under: Tech — Aditya Joshi @ 6:53 pm

Is there any mathematical logic behind the Google logo? The fact is that Google loves numbers:

  • Google is named after a Googol, which is a 1 followed by 100 zeros. They didn’t use the original spelling because someone made a mistake, which was fortuitous since googol.com was taken, but google.com was available.
  • Google’s buildings are numbered 0, 1, e, pi, and phi; all of which have mathematical significance.
  • Google’s first IPO raised $2,718,281,828, which is the product of “e” and $1 billion, where “e” is the base of the natural logarithm.
  • For their second public offering Google will sell 14,159,265 shares, which is the first 8 digits after the decimal point in pi (3.14159265)

And remember this? Google played with numbers to select and attract mathematicians. There were the numbers again: pi and e.

Now take a closer look at the Google logo:

How did they decide which colors to pick? Just a random pick? I don’t think so.. Google will not do anything random or without a reason. And the colors don’t appear random to me. When we take a closer look at the colors and play around you’ll see the earlier mentioned favorite number again: e.

The colors of the logo are blue red yellow blue green red. So that makes brybgr. Seems meaningless, but let’s get it going on in Google-style and translate this to the numbers of the alphabet (a=1, z=26).

b r y b g r = 2 18 25 2 7 18

Hey! 2 18 25 2 7 18
2718 looks familiar, and it is because there’s e again! e = 2,718…

Is this a coincidence? I don’t think so. But I don’t see any logic in the rest of it. So maybe there’s someone that can sort it out. You’ll be the first!

Some more help or logic: I mentioned Googol. And there is also something called Googolplex. I don’t believe Google made a mistake in speling in Googol. They just really wanted that e in there name. The colors may explain in Google-style how they did come from googol(plex) to Google. The only thing we have to do is solve it..

Kabhi Kabhi .. Best Lyrics Ever…!!!

Kabhi kabhi mere dil main khayal aata hain
Ki zindagi teri zulfon ki narm chhaon main guzarne pati
to shadab ho bhi sakti thi.

Yeh ranj-o-gham ki siyahi jo dil pe chhayi hain
Teri nazar ki shuaon main kho bhi sakti thi.

Magar yeh ho na saka aur ab ye aalam hain
Ki tu nahin, tera gham teri justjoo bhi nahin.

Guzar rahi hain kuchh iss tarah zindagi jaise,
isse kisi ke sahare ki aarzoo bhi nahin.

Na koi raah, na manzil, na roshni ka suraag
Bhatak rahin hai andheron main zindagi meri.

Inhi andheron main reh jaoonga kabhi kho kar
Main janta hoon meri hum-nafas, magar yoonhi
Kabhi kabhi mere dil main khayal aata hai.
